Thing Two had a fun week working on some of the Gumball Printables from COAH’s LOWT!
- From this colorful book. Some reviews say the book is “too easy” and it is true – most of the concepts in here even Thing Two has mastered (mostly anyhting letter related). But They BOTH love this seris of books. I bought the PreK and K books. Thing One is 4.5 and he does most all th K activities – so they ARE a bit easy for the level, but I think review is just fine!
- Gumball Machine Color Matching
- Tasting Skittles for the first time (in place of eating gumballs)!
- The cute little Candy Box (complete with tiny scooper!) came from the Michael’s Crafts Dollar Bins!
- Shapes & Shape Words – Turn to Learn Early Math Wheels by Scholastic (awesome!)
- He was more interested in stacking the caps than painting.
- It got pretty high!
- Then he got down to business…
- Thing Two wanted a tracing page (I had made up one for Big Brother). He did’t trace the top line – that was me showing him how. To no avail…he colored the letters in stead. :-)
- We have a Crayola Dry Erase Center from the boys’ Great-Grands.
- G is for Gumball Puzzle
- more from the PreK Colorful File Folder Games.
- He didn’t color-by-number…but that’s okay!
- some puzzles we have…he puts them together all alone perfectly now.
- Another Activity (counting 1-10 Farm Animals with the cuteest animals ever! It’s Carson-Dellosa…so, of course it’s the cutest!)
- Brother Love!
- How bad is this? We were shopping and happened to need something in the isle with coloring books and markers and such. THing Two sees this (to his credit ADORABLE) Dino Coloring Book (complete with over 200 stickers, lol!). He said – I am going ot color that please Mama? I bought it. I don’t EVER do that sort of thing. Sheesh, I was a sucker for his cute voice (and polite asking too!) and puppy face. :-)

and

He’s too cute!! I just want to give him a big hug:D He reminds me of my nephew:) You definitely can’t say no to that face!
And it is SO hard to be mad at him when he’s in trouble too…like today when he colored the carpet with a blue marker (and this was no small “coloring” job either!). I guess I never said he couldn’t color the carpet…but he never asked either.
Thanks for stopping by!
