After a week of much-needed break, we’re back at it! This week was the Letter Gg and all our Gumball themed activities came from COAH’s LOTW.
We also began our journey with We Choose Virtues and “I am Gentle.” You can read my review of We Choose Virtues and find out what we did HERE!
- Tracing
- UC-LC sorting (kinda got this down)!
- 1-10 Counting…we used Skittles because I was not opening the “gum” chapter yet yet, lol.
- size seq.
- Missing # Math Wheel (“Turn-to-Learn” Math Wheels – Scholastic Book)
- Gg Do-a-Dot
- Some tracing practice of names of people in our family.
- We Choose Virtues – “I am Gentle” (tracing page I created to go along)
- G is for Gumball puzzle.
- Counting and ordering the gumball Machines.
- Lacing!
- Trying to explain and teach 1st, 2nd, 3rd…and so on. This file folder game is from the book “File Folder Games in Color: Numbers & Counting” a Scholastic book.
- Color by Number Gumball Machine. Thing One loves color by numbers!
- Simple Patterning practice.
- Milk Cap Spelling.
- Colorful File Folder Games – PreK The boys counted the farm animals together (1-10). I ordered this book and the level K book. The Amazon reviews are to both extemes on this product. It is very easy games, but the bright colors and the various themes are ingaging – even if the skill is easily mastered. They like playing again and again! Worth it to me for that reason! :-) Review is not a bad thing.
- Awwwww :-)
- Cut and Paste – his new favorite thing!
- Not bad!
